The challenge

To own and operate a powerful and user-friendly digital dissemination system to showcase the collection.

The UIT chose LIMB Gallery, the digital library platform developed by i2S. Impressed by the ability to search for keywords across the entire collection, share content by downloading or printing, and the high-definition viewer, ITU continues to collaborate with Arkhênum, a distributor of the LIMB Gallery solution.

Advantages

The Library and Archives Service has already begun to explore ways to increase the visibility of the historical journal collection. This includes using LIMB Gallery’s virtual exhibition tool to create thematic online exhibitions and using the system’s built-in OAI-PMH server to collaborate with other institutions such as Gallica and Europeana.
