The National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco (BNRM) is actively involved in preserving its national heritage. This project was established in 2009 with the aim of conserving, restoring, and digitizing all of Morocco's documentary collections comprising 80,000 manuscripts (including 200,000 titles) from the ninth century to the present day. These heritage collections are held in Moroccan libraries (BNRM, heritage libraries, university libraries, public libraries and private libraries open to the public).
i2S has equipped the BNRM with 2 types of scanners for works that require partial opening scanning:
