" In the lab we are currently using a CopiBook V A1 and process using LIMB software. The equipment and relationship existed prior to me being in this position and Hopkins has been working with i2s for a few years now. What we look for in any piece of equipment or software is quality and efficiency, which is something we strive to see in the work we produce." Cameron Hanley from Johns Hopinks University
We haven't used the CopiBook as much as we'd like to given that we are currently waiting to exchange cameras in the machine due to technical issues, but it has provided us with legible results that we are happy with. It allows us to scan using multiple machines if necessary, which is great for efficiency and turnaround depending on the demand.
Based off of the established relationship between my department, Hopkins and i2s I would recommend others looking to them for potentially finding solutions for their needs.
We currently use the LIMB software the most often due to our demand for turning books and documents into PDF's for course material as well as other projects. The CopiBook is one of several pieces of equipment that get used regularly, but at different times depending on the material and demand. With LIMB, the CopiBook and the support of i2s it has made our daily operations have been smooth and as close to normal as it can be during these difficult times.
