Dallas Public Library

The Dallas Public Library wanted to provide customers with a scanner for digitizing their family history projects.

Approach & Solution

Digitization projects included very large family albums, manuscript collections and city building permit books. The Dallas Public Library made a room with the CopiBook scanner available to the public as part of the creation of a digitization hub.

“A little introductory training is all our customers need to subsequently be able to use the CopiBook Scanner for their own family history projects. Some of them have already brought in Pearl Harbor letters from 1941, albums and rare family books for scanning. Customers are amazed at how quickly their projects can be digitized, and how easy it is to use. We appreciate how quickly books can be scanned thanks to the automated lowering of the glass and the foot pedal.”
